About Chassidy Jade

Curator. Filmmaker. Educator.

Chassidy Jade is an established film editor, producer, art curator with 15 years of experience; most noted for polished events and film innovations. Her credits include brands like Coca-Cola and Nike with film credits for CREED and the NBA, becoming the first minority senior editor. As an advocate of creative arts education, Jade works heavily with The Black Girls Film Camp, Beats by Dre Black Creatives, and the CBS Pipeline.

Born a military brat, her roots are in Delray Beach and Memphis. As a troubled  teenager, she worked under beloved mentor Ron Crawford and fell in love with being behind the camera. She began working local concerts and conventions. Chassidy went on to receive a scholarship to The Arts Institute and later graduated top of her class. 
 Her professional journey began with clientele such as Steve Harvey, the Miami Heat, and Gucci Mane as well as multiple major networks like Viacom and Warner Brothers. Chassidy’s pollard yet elegant editing style has demanded the attention of many elite producers behind the scene branding herself as "EDITBAE".
Jade made her directorial debut with her self written short film Brown Ballerina, which had huge success as a selection in Toronto Shorts Film Festival. The film produced a US tour launching her own live production company CHICC: Crown Her Iconic Cretive Club (formerly Crown Me Royal Labs) in 2015. Jade is widely known for her extravagant events highlighting female designers, visual artists & filmmakers.
After orchestrating the NBA 2020 season as senior editor, she worked under Parallax Post LA known Beyonce's Lemonade and Everything Everywhere All At Once. She contributes her creative freedom to Paul Rodgers, Luke Lynch, and Tai Philllips. Chassidy Jade established her own post production house Editbae Post currently leading the next generation of minority filmmakers.
